Do Not Forget!

(14/12/2012) In October of 2012 humane society „Nezaboravak“ have decided to organize a humanitarian action that is aimed to gather basic supplies to children living and working on the streets, their families and for people who do not have a home but spend winter days in shelters.

It is anticipated that this action is in the winter time, we provided blankets, winter clothes, canned food, toiletries, diapers and formula for infants, milk and other goods that would facilitate the lives of people who do not have a home and spend the winter on the streets.

In the period from October to December of 2012 the media campaign was prepared through several online media, three highly rated TV shows in prime time, some shows, radio commercials, 36 billboards in located in Belgrade, circular mails, social networks etc.

For the name of the action is chosen slogan "Do not forget" that primarily urges public not to forget less privileged fellow citizens, brothers and reminds that we must not close our eyes to the plight and misery at the same time.

During the two months the campaign has collected more than eight hundred blankets, shoes and boots, winter jackets, sweaters, winter pants, hats, scarves, gloves, a thousand pounds of detergent, two hundred gallons of liquid soaps, shampoos, and toilet articles, hundreds of packages of diapers, canned food, milk and formula for infants.

In the two months with the amount of information collected through the supplied two hundred families that are classified as endangered.
