Health professionals signing donor's cards

PROKUPLJE, 13/05/2013 - In the Health Center in Prokupac, Professor Dr. Radivoj Kocić, in front of the "Nezaboravak" humanitarian society, held a presentation, the aim of which was to encourage the bequest of organs and the signing of donor cards.

It is very important to inform the population about the action of bequeathing organs, about the humanity and importance of this act. Serbia must follow the path followed by all developed countries, and by increasing the number of donors, opportunities for cooperation with European centers for transplantation will open up, and thus we would have the opportunity to help a large number of people in our country who are waiting for transplantation, actually for life extension - said Prof. Dr. Kocic.

Through a video presentation of all important segments related to organ transplantation and bequest, the attendees were introduced to the advantages of this method of treatment.

The lecture was attended by a large number of health workers, who signed the donor cards today.
