Medical examination of the residents of “Svratište”

The Humanitarian Organization „Nezaboravak“ and the health centre „Dijagnostika“ from Belgrade organized an activity in 2010 during March and April, the activity with the purpose of medical examination of the residents of the Centre for Integration of Youth called „Svratište“ in Belgrade.

Such medical examination, which had not been available to them before, enabled the residents of “Svratište” to do a qualified medical examination prior to the inclusion in the educational system of preschools and primary schools. In addition to the insight into the health condition of each individual, the medical examination also decreased the risk of serious illnesses among these children. During the action, 16 children were examined and these children were given plenty of useful advice in order to reduce the problems that they face every day.
